Why Manora Studio
What a Careful Studio
Does Differently
There are many places to leave a watch. What is harder to find is a place where the process itself is transparent, the work is unhurried, and the owner is kept in the conversation.

Professional Expertise
Manora Studio is led by a watchmaker with a formal apprenticeship and nearly two decades of hands-on experience. This is not general electronics repair — it is movement-specific, calibre-aware mechanical work.
The difference shows in how a diagnosis is conducted, which lubricants are selected for which parts, and in the timing results achieved after regulation.
What this means in practice:
Tools and Equipment
We maintain a watchmaker's bench equipped for the range of movements we accept. This includes an electronic timegrapher for timing measurement, ultrasonic cleaning equipment, a pressure tester for water-resistant models, and a range of movement-holding fixtures appropriate to different calibres.
Timing results are reported to the owner after every service where the movement is opened.

How We Communicate
Every owner is kept informed. If findings change the agreed scope, we stop and discuss. Nothing is added to the bill without your knowledge. You are welcome to ask questions at any point — before, during, or after the work.
We operate by appointment or walk-in during studio hours. If you are travelling from outside Hat Yai, we are happy to arrange a convenient time in advance.
Our communication approach:
Transparent Pricing
Service prices are listed openly — ฿4,400 for a diagnostic and basic service, ฿7,400 for seal renewal and resistance checking, ฿14,800 for a full restoration. Any parts needed are discussed with you before ordering.
There are no hidden charges at collection. If the work comes in under estimate, you pay the lower figure.
Pricing clarity includes:
Measurable Outcomes
After every service involving the movement, we provide a timegrapher reading showing the watch's rate, amplitude, and beat error. This gives you an objective record of the watch's performance before and after service.
For water-resistant models that receive seal renewal, a pressure test result is also provided. These are not estimates — they are measured values from calibrated instruments.
Reported results include:
How It Compares

What Sets Us Apart
Distinctive Points of Difference
Written Plans for Restorations
Before any restoration begins, we prepare a written scope covering what will be done, which parts are expected, and the estimated cost. You can read this at your own pace and ask questions before deciding.
Honest Scope Limits
If a movement falls outside what we are equipped to handle well, we say so. We do not attempt work we are not confident in. This honesty protects your watch and your time.
No Artificial Deadlines
We give realistic timeframes rather than optimistic ones. Detailed work takes the time it takes. We would rather deliver on a longer estimate than rush and compromise the result.
Locally Accessible
A permanent studio in Hat Yai means you can bring your watch in person, discuss the work face to face, and collect it yourself. No couriers, no waiting, no uncertainty about what happened to your piece.
